Smarter Agent is shore real estate!
Get ready. In just over a month, the NFL SUPERBOWL takes place on February 1 2004.
This means the New Jersey shore real estate pre-season begins to heat up the following weekend.
No one knows the exact reason why, but:
Maybe this is because people are willing to once again spend their Sundays looking at homes and real estate instead of watching the Philadelphia Eagles or other weekend high school, college or NFL football games.
Or maybe thoughts of spring and shore real estate enter our minds as the days begin to get longer after the Winter Solistace. Or maybe people start longing for the beach once they get the remaining winter forecast from Punxsutawney Phil (the Goundhog).
We know one thing here at Smarter Agent --- people love to use our site and top Realtors when they look for real estate at the shore. Why not, you can get daily updated MLS searches for all the beach communities and schedule an appointment right from our website! Coming this Spring, you will even be able to tool around the beach communities and use our patented wireless GPS real estate search -- Oh, yea! Only at Smarter Agent.
We know people love shore real estate because more people look for real estate in Cape May, Wildwood, Atlantic City, and Ocean City than they do in many of the fast growing towns in Bucks County or Chester County! Indeed, as I look at our January settlement sheets we have homes selling in Cape May, Wildwood and Ocean City in January. So look on our site, or give us a call (800-727-1787) and we will help you find the right deal at the right price for your next beach home. Get smart about shore real estate with Smarter Agent.

How do we know who are the best Realtors in your town?
Good question. We all see a lot of relocation companies and internet based services advertising that they will find you the best Realtor. Most just send these "leads" to multiple Realtors, some of who are good, but many are not the sharpest tacks in the lot.
How do we do we ensure our clients get the -truly- best Realtor in each town?
First of all, we are experienced and licensed Realtors ourselves. When we created Smarter Agent we began getting clients from 4 main sources: 1.) past clients and their referrals, 2.) Internet surfers attracted to our best of class website, 3.) consumers who saw our story reported in USA TODAY or other news media, 4.) and also from banks and corporations who entrust us with their customers.
We realized early on that we could not grow, train and recruit agents fast enough to meet our demand.
So we developed a process to see which Realtors listed the most and sold the most real estate in each town. Then we interview them and determine if they are savvy, hard-working and respected by their peers. At the end of our review, we actively recruit these agents to represent us in the town(s) they know the most about.
So when we introduce our clients to a Realtor, they can be assured we picked them not because they work for a certain firm, or because we needed a body to help our clients --- WE PICKED THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE THE BEST.
As Realtors, we know other Realtors respect and like to work with our Realty Exchange members. This helps our clients get their offers accepted as our Realtors know the real estate process inside and out, know how to sell, get deals done, and know how to negotiate!
Try us out the next time you need some professional advice.
PS. Just because we send you to an expert Realtor in the town you are buying or selling, doesn't mean that's the end of your contact with Smarter Agent. We keep in contact both with YOU and your new Realtor to ensure you are getting great service and finding what you want. We do this until the day you go to settlement!
PPS: If you expand your search to multiple towns, tell us, and we will ensure you get a new Realtor familiar with your new search area. Think of Smarter Agent as your life line. Your personal command and control center. We always look out for your interests, and your interests only.

Introducing the FA! Service
You would think we would be satisfied having the best search engine on the internet. Well, we constantly like to add new things.
So here is our newest real estate serivce:
FA!
What's FA! - well it's not related to DO RA ME FA! SO LA TE DO...unless you are looking for real estate in the Alps.
FA! lets our clients give us any parameters to find them real estate. You enter your request right over the internet, and we put together a team to research and find you what you want.
For example: You could tell us -- "I want to buy a shore home near Governor Rendell in Ocean City". Or "I want to purchase a piece of Philadelphia real estate once owned by someone who fought in the Revolutionary War." Or you could tell us: "I just must live in a school district that is known for getting the most students in the University of Pennsylvania".
You get the idea.
We have been doing this kind of research for ourselves and our commercial clients, and now we bring this analytical research to our residential customers.
If you are a serious, financially able client - this service is free if a seller paid commission is available, --or we will negotiate a fee based on the size of the purchase and only if we are successful finding you what you want (and you buy it).
Give us your special hard to find request, and be prepared to be WOW'd!

Who are the millionaires in your neighborhood?
Accordingly to Thomas J. Stanley and William Danko, the authors of the bestselling book "The Millionaire Next Door", most millionaires live well below their means.
Indeed, they conclude most people have it all wrong about wealth in America. The authors note, "If you make a good income each year and spend it all, you are not getting wealthier. You are just living high. Wealth is what you accumulate, not what you spend."
The Texans say "Big Hat - No Cattle"...meaning those people flaunting $1000 suits, big homes and luxury cars may very well have less in the Bank than you!
Here is what the authors found is the prototypical American millionaire.
> 57 year old male, married with 3 children.
> Self-employed (the self-employed make up less than 20% of workers in America, but account for 2/3's of the millionaires).
>Own what could be classified as dull-normal businesses. Welding contractors, auctioneers, rice farmers, owners of mobile homeparks, pest controllers, coin and stamp dealers, and paving contractors.
>Half of their wives do not work outside the home. The number one occupation of those that do is teacher.
>Median income of a millionaire is $131,000.00.
>97% are homeowners.
>80% are first generation affluent.
>Wear inexpensive suits and drive American made cars. A minority drive current year automobiles. A minority of milionaires lease.
>Most of their wives are meticulous planners and budgeters.
> Millionaires invest nearly 20% of household income each year.
In sum, the millionaire in your neighborhood allocates time and energy into building wealth. They live below their means. They did not receive help from their parents. They believe financial independence is more important than displaying high social status.
Smarter Agent is probably the only Realtor in America that will tell you not to over-extend yourself when buying a home. Be comfortable, confident, and don't try to keep up with the Jones'...they may be worse off than you!
